About Us The Student Equity and Disabilities Unit (SEADU) is committed to ensuring that every student’s experience of the University of New South Wales is free from discrimination and harassment. Our role is to promote a culturally rich and diverse university campus and to work with students, staff and administration to achieve that. We provide a range of services, support and advice to help students overcome barriers that could prevent them from having a successful university education. We have a team of professional Disability and Equity Officers who are available to students to provide advice or support in any of these areas. We are actively involved in and organise a wide range of events within the University to promote and safeguard a flourishing socially and culturally diverse community.
